Week 2 - Weightloss Journey

Well.... last week I lost 7.1 lbs (week 1). This week (week 2) I lost 0.8 lbs. I think it's a result of a few things....

First, it's kindof like the week 2 curse on "The Biggest Loser". The contestants traditionally always struggle in week 2 as their bodies adapt to the new diet.

Second, I still haven't really begun to excersize at all. I know that this is an importnt component I've been neglecting.

Lastly, I actually think I need to eat a bit more.... It takes 3,844 calories to maintain my current weight. I've made a plan to eat around 2,700 and so far I've only been doing right around 2,000. This is probably a bit low for my weight and may be causing my body to hold on to the fat because I'm not eating enough. So this wek I'm trying to inch that up a bit.... Although I want a bit more calories, I'm still trying to shoot for about 40% of those calories to come from carbs, 35% from protein and the last 25% from fats. Clearly, trying to make good food choices inside of those targets.
